Modern Palace of Water Sports in Mangit city
The opening ceremony of this fifth facility, built in the district by the Fund for Development of Physical Culture and Sports, was attended by representatives of state and public organizations, athletes, youth and journalists.
It is planned to build indoor swimming pools at children and youth sports schools in 11 districts until 2021, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
On the basis of relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of June 2, 2018, 5 objects in Karakalpakstan are included in the targeted program of the Fund for Development of Physical Culture and Sports. On the basis of this document, modern indoor pools were built in Karauzak, Chimbay, Ellikkala districts and the city of Nukus.
The commissioning of this pool has become a joyful event for youth of the district. Now there will be even more opportunities for creating a swimming section, popularizing water sports, and healthy youth development.
The event was attended by the Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan D.Nabiyev.
